Coverage Overview
Workmanship and material warranties are different.
Our workmanship warranty addresses qualifying problems caused by the installation work. Manufacturers control their own material warranties.
Examples of workmanship issues
- Structural defects caused by improper installation.
- Leaning posts or sagging gates attributable to a workmanship error.
- Loose pickets or rails resulting from an installation fault.
Examples that generally fall outside workmanship
- Material aging, rot, insects, color change, or a manufacturer defect.
- Storm, wind, hail, flood, soil event, impact, vandalism, or third-party alteration.
- Normal wear, maintenance, or conditions excluded in the written project documents.
