Vickery Meadow falls under standard City of Dallas fence rules. A permit is generally required for fences over 4 feet in a front yard or over 6 feet in a rear or side yard, so most standard privacy fences need one — we pull it as part of the job. Rear and side fences can run up to 9 feet before Board of Adjustment approval is required. Front-yard fences are held to a lower height, and corner lots near intersections off Park Lane or Northwest Highway have to keep a sight triangle clear so drivers can see.
